May 10th Meeting 2011

Another small meeting with only 5 in attendance.  There were some nice pictures presented.  Neil Moles brought in some results of his experiment of creating a black and white negative from a digital photography. The results were very nice given the method. He took a digital photo and inverted it in Photoshop to create the negative. With the inverted file Neil took it to have it printed on a sheet of transparency paper. Using his darkroom enlarger and exposed the negative on an 8 x 10 piece of photo paper then developed it. The developed print looked great. Only upon closer inspection could you see the half tone dots from the printed ink on the sheet of transparency.

Also it was decided that we will be going to 1 meeting a month during the summer months. We will only be meeting the 2nd Tuesdays of the months of June, July, and August.

The next meeting is June 14th. And you are to bring your camera because we will be shooting in the park.
