Hi Everyone,

2012 was a great year and we ended with a bang. The Christmas dinner was excellent as it always is, with all the great food. Collectively we have been pondering what can be done to improve interest in the club and we have decided to move locations for several reasons. During the winter it is hard to get to, and cold for meetings when the Manor house is kept just warm enough for pipes to not freeze. Safety is also another reason, with it being dark this time of year lighting is limited in the park and people are scarce. We also think that people don’t realize we have been at the park to attract new comers. Moving to the Lake Community Library will solve all these problems, it will be warm, well lit, and plenty of people for safety. Also the Library is allowing us to post flyers and other notices for awareness.

With moving to the Lake Community Library we had to make a change in day and time we meet as well. The Library meeting room is used quite often, and the only time that was free was Thursdays. So we are meeting at 6:30 PM to 8 PM every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month, starting January. So mark your calendars and come join us!

We will be planning for the year our first meeting and discussing what people would like to cover over the course of the year. So bring your ideas, and what you would like to learn. Oh and bring some photos to share.
